Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) also forms a part of the range of our polyester filament yarn inventory. This yarn is manufactured by a method which is similar to POY, the only difference being, that the yarn is produced at higher spinning speeds. This apart, intermediate drawing also forms a part of the manufacturing process. This fiber is a short curly fiber which is suitable for mixing with cotton and other fibers such as rayon, nylon, acrylic, ramie, wool etc, in spinning yarns for knitting and weaving. The reason it is called galloping fiber, is because it has emerged as the fastest growing manufactured fiber in recent times.
